Nicaragua and Cuba issue diplomatic greetings to Fiji and North Korea

In a separate diplomatic development, Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel extended congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the Workers' Party of Korea on its 81st anniversary. The gesture, which included a photo of the two leaders, drew criticism from some Cubans on social media who expressed dissatisfaction with the government's focus on foreign authoritarian leaders amid domestic issues such as power outages and water shortages.
