Nicaragua hosts national mathematics competition final

The Nicaraguan Ministry of Education (MINED) is hosting the national final of the ‘Aprendo y Evoluciono con las Matemáticas’ competition. The event features 38 sixth-grade students representing various departments across the country.

The competition is part of a multi-stage initiative that began in April with approximately 100,000 participants. Following municipal and departmental stages, the finalists are now competing to demonstrate logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. The program includes the use of specialized textbooks designed to foster analytical skills through active learning methodologies.
