Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo have expressed their condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping following the death of Zhu Rongji, a prominent leader of the Communist Party of China and the State.

Zhu Rongji served as the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China between 1998 and 2003.
