Nicaragua hosts 15th International Festival of Arts and Gastronomy
The 15th edition of the International Festival of Arts, Cultures, and Gastronomy of Our Peoples has opened in Managua, Nicaragua. Organized by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism (INTUR), the two-day event at the Olof Palme Convention Center serves as an international meeting point for representatives from more than 40 countries.
Participants from Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Africa are showcasing cultural identities through music, traditional dances, crafts, and diverse culinary offerings. Camila Ortega, national coordinator of the National Commission of Creative and Orange Economy, emphasized the festival's role in strengthening brotherhood between nations.
Managua Mayor Reyna Rueda highlighted the event as an opportunity for family coexistence and the sharing of diverse gastronomy. The festival aims to promote solidarity, peace, and cultural diversity through various artistic expressions and traditional clothing.
