Nicaragua launches national vocational program and cultural festivals
Nicaragua has launched several national initiatives focused on education, vocational guidance, and cultural heritage. As part of the “Septiembre Victorioso” period, the country is conducting activities to strengthen national identity through arts and educational projection.
A central component of these efforts is the “Una Ruta para Triunfar” national vocational training program. Aimed at approximately 86,600 future high school graduates, the program provides tools for students to identify their skills and interests to better navigate technical, technological, and higher education. The initiative has seen implementation in Managua, Boaco, and the North Caribbean region, involving institutions such as INATEC, MINED, and various regional universities.
In addition to educational programs, the nation is celebrating its culinary traditions. The “Patria Bendita” gastronomic festival was held in Ocotal, Nueva Segovia, where participants from 18 different departments shared ancestral recipes and traditional dishes to promote Nicaraguan cultural identity.
