Nicaragua mining and sports sectors support constitutional reform

Various sectors in Nicaragua, including the mining industry and the sports community, have expressed support for the proposed Constitutional Reform during consultation processes in Managua.

Representatives from the mining sector stated that preserving national stability, security, and peace is essential for maintaining the confidence required to continue investing in the country. Laureano Ortega, Presidential Advisor for Investment, Trade, and International Cooperation, acknowledged the sector's participation and emphasized the state's commitment to maintaining conditions favorable for productive activities.

Similarly, athletes and sports promoters voiced their backing for the reform, noting that it aims to safeguard peace and ensure the continuity of policies designed to promote and massify sports across all disciplines. Maurice Ortega Murillo, a presidential delegate for sports development, highlighted ongoing efforts in modernizing sports facilities and strengthening training processes for athletes and coaches.
