In Managua, Sandinista youth also held a commemorative event at the Plaza de la Revolución to honor the legacy of Tomás Borge Martínez on the 96th anniversary of his birth, featuring musical performances and floral offerings.

In Guatemala, President Bernardo Arévalo marked International Youth Day by emphasizing the demographic importance of young people, noting that over 60% of the population is under 30. He highlighted government initiatives such as the opening of 500 new secondary education institutes and the expansion of national scholarship programs.
