Nicaragua Ministry of Youth launches AI academic course
Nicaragua’s Ministry of Youth (Minjuve) has announced a new extension course titled ‘Artificial Intelligence for Academic Productivity.’ The program is scheduled to run from September 1 to October 7, organized in coordination with 15 private universities.
Johanna Manzanares, Director of Youth Innovation and Creativity at the Ministry, stated that the course aims to teach young people how to use AI tools to enhance their academic work rather than replacing human thought. The initiative is free, with registrations available via QR codes on the Ministry’s platforms and participating university sites.
Armando Mendoza, Secretary General of the Central University of Nicaragua (UCN), emphasized the necessity of integrating new technologies into academia to improve the professional qualities of upcoming graduates.
