Nicaragua participates in MANIFIESTA 2026 festival in Belgium

Nicaragua participated in the MANIFIESTA 2026 International Solidarity Festival held on September 12 and 13 in Ostend, Belgium. Organized by the Workers' Party of Belgium (PTB), the event brought together various political forces, social movements, and international organizations.

Nicaraguan diplomatic representatives used the forum to present information regarding the country's economic and social developments, including advancements in road infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social programs. The delegation also addressed recent constitutional reforms and emphasized the nation's right to political self-determination.

A cultural component titled ‘The Flavors of Resistance’ featured a coffee tasting session alongside participants from Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, and Laos. This activity highlighted Nicaraguan coffee production and the history of its farming cooperatives.
