Nicaragua receives 60 Yutong buses to modernize public transport

Nicaragua has received 60 new Yutong buses from China to modernize and expand its national public transportation system. The units arrived in Managua to be distributed to transport cooperatives across various departments and municipalities.

The buses are specifically designed to handle both passenger transport and cargo, featuring specialized compartments to help local producers move goods. This dual functionality is intended to support local economies and facilitate commerce in rural or underserved communities.

According to official data, Nicaragua has received more than 2,200 buses and minibuses through its ongoing cooperation program with China. The new fleet aims to improve mobility for families and ensure service meets the demands of interurban and intermunicipal travel.
