Nicaragua solidarity campaign promoted at Berlin peace fair

The European Committee of Solidarity with the Sandinista Popular Revolution (CES) promoted the ‘Nicaragua se Respeta’ campaign during the UZ-Friedenstage International Peace and Solidarity Fair in Berlin, Germany. Held from August 28 to 30, the event was organized by the German Communist Party (DKP).

The campaign aims to raise awareness regarding the historical legal victory of the Nicaraguan government against the United States. Specifically, participants are collecting signatures to demand that the U.S. government comply with the June 26, 1986, ruling by the International Court of Justice concerning damages caused during the U.S. military intervention in Nicaragua.

During the three-day event, members of the committee presented information on Nicaragua's recent developments and gathered support from attendees, many of whom signed in solidarity with the campaign.
