Chacabuco officials plan urban development for the next 30 years
In Chacabuco, municipal authorities and provincial representatives held a session of the Provincial Council of Housing and Habitat to discuss long-term urban development and housing access. Mayor Darío Golía emphasized the need for state-led planning to ensure sustainable growth that balances the interests of industry, agriculture, and workers.
The municipality is currently working with the Federal Council of Investments (CFI) to develop a new Urban Management Plan. This initiative aims to define the city's growth and infrastructure needs for the next 25 to 30 years, preventing urban expansion from being dictated solely by market dynamics.
