Nicaragua to pay public servants with annual salary increase

Nicaraguan Copresident Rosario Murillo has announced that all public servants will receive their salary payments on Friday, October 31. This disbursement will include the annual salary increase mandated by law.

Murillo noted that the timing of the payment is intended to support family finances during the upcoming All Souls' Day commemorations. She highlighted that many families travel between municipalities to visit cemeteries to honor deceased relatives, which often incurs significant travel expenses. The administration stated that the payment serves as a contribution to help families manage these traditional seasonal costs.
