Nicaragua wins team title at Pan American Bodybuilding Championship

The 2026 Pan American Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship held in Guatemala concluded with Nicaragua securing first place in the team standings. Guatemala followed in second, with El Salvador taking third.

Costa Rica achieved a notable fourth-place finish in the general team classification despite competing with a small delegation of only three athletes: Daniel Chinchilla, Miguel Mejía, and Milixa Millón. The trio earned a total of seven medals, including six golds and one silver.

Individual highlights included Daniel Chinchilla winning the Men’s Physique category (up to 170 cm) and Miguel Mejía winning the Men’s Physique category (up to 176 cm). The pair also won the Fit Pairs category. Milixa Millón secured gold in Bikini Fitness (+166 cm) and the Bikini Fitness Overall title, while also earning a silver medal in the Fit Model Open category.
