Nice court acquits two OGC Nice supporters of player violence
A criminal court in Nice has acquitted two OGC Nice supporters, Anthony D. and Mohamed C., who were accused of violence against players Jérémie Boga and Terem Moffi. The defendants, known figures within the Nice ultra scene, had faced charges of organized criminal association and aggravated violence following an incident in late November 2025.
The confrontation occurred after a 3-1 defeat against Lorient, when hundreds of supporters blocked the team bus at the club's training center. While players Boga and Moffi reported being subjected to insults, spitting, and physical shoving, the court reached a verdict of total acquittal.
Testimony from police officers present at the scene played a decisive role in the ruling. Officers stated they did not observe acts of violence by the two men and suggested they had actually acted to de-escalate the situation and calm the crowd. Despite prosecutors requesting prison sentences of one to two years, the tribunal determined the evidence was insufficient for a conviction.
