Nice Côte d’Azur Airport announces new routes and fleet upgrades
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is seeing significant changes to its flight operations scheduled for late 2026. Transavia will transition its entire Nice to Paris-Orly route to Airbus A320neo aircraft starting December 6, 2026. These next-generation planes are expected to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by approximately 15% while reducing the noise footprint by up to 50%.
Additionally, EasyJet has announced a new direct route connecting Nice to Cairo, Egypt. Scheduled to begin on October 27, 2026, the service will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This seasonal route is planned to run until March 27, 2027, targeting the growing demand for North African destinations and city breaks from the Côte d’Azur region.
