Nichimo restructures business portfolio to meet medium-term goals

Nichimo Co., Ltd., a specialized fishery trading company founded in 1919, is restructuring its portfolio across four major business segments to achieve its medium-term management goals and ensure a balanced profit structure.

The company operates as a platformer supporting the fishery supply chain through six interconnected business areas: food, marine, machinery, materials, bio, and logistics. Its core segments include food products such as sushi ingredients, marine equipment including fishing nets and aquaculture supplies, machinery for food processing lines, and materials ranging from food packaging to residential films.

A key focus of the company is aquaculture. Leveraging over 40 years of experience, Nichimo provides total coordination for aquaculture projects, assisting clients from initial site investigation and planning through to material procurement, growth management, and final product sales.
