Nicholas Brandram found dead in London amid Putney Pusher investigation

Nicholas Brandram, a 44-year-old British banker and war veteran, has been found dead at his residence in Chiswick, West London. The Metropolitan Police described the death as “unexpected” and stated there are currently no indications of criminality, with early findings suggesting suicide.

Brandram’s death has drawn significant attention due to his familial connections to European royalty. He was a descendant of the Windsor family and a relative of King Felipe VI and Queen Sofía of Spain through the family of Princess Catherine of Greece.

His passing also brings renewed focus to the “Putney Pusher” investigation. Brandram had been arrested in June as a suspect in this high-profile case, though he had not been formally charged. While the Independent Office for Police Conduct has been notified due to the circumstances, Scotland Yard maintains that the ongoing investigation into the Putney case continues.
