Nicholas Meregali and Felipe Preguiça to begin Jiu-Jitsu trilogy in São Paulo

Nicholas Meregali and Felipe Preguiça are set to face each other for the third time in a high-profile Jiu-Jitsu trilogy at Spaten Fight Night 3 in São Paulo on August 29. The match will be a No-Gi bout in the over 99kg division, consisting of three five-minute rounds.

Meregali currently holds a 2-0 lead in their rivalry, having secured victories via submission in both previous encounters: an Ezekiel choke during the 2018 IBJJF World Championship and a rear-naked choke at the 2023 UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5. While Preguiça seeks his first win against his rival, Meregali aims to maintain his undefeated record in their series. The event will be broadcast on Globo and Combate.
