Nicholas Zavesky, 43, has been arrested in Long Island for allegedly using artificial intelligence to create child pornography. According to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Zavesky took social media photos of two girls, aged 12 to 16, and used an AI program to generate more than 50 explicit images depicting them without clothing.

Suffolk County police discovered the images during a raid on Zavesky’s home in East Patchogue on Thursday morning. The investigation was prompted by a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Zavesky, who is identified as an “MVP” softball pitcher in the United States Specialty Sports Association, pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance. He has been released under strict conditions, including GPS monitoring and restrictions on computer and internet use. A temporary order of protection has also been issued to prevent any contact with the victims. He is scheduled to return to court on September 11.
