Nick Cannon to debut Netflix docuseries about his 12-child family

Nick Cannon is set to premiere a new Netflix docuseries this winter that provides an unfiltered look at his life as a father to 12 children. The entertainer stated that the project aims to control the narrative surrounding his unconventional lifestyle and provide a “raw” and “real” perspective on how he manages multiple households.

The series will explore the complexities of his co-parenting dynamics with six different women and include a tribute to his late son, Zen, who passed away from brain cancer in 2021. Cannon noted that while some of the children's mothers were initially hesitant to allow cameras into their homes, they ultimately agreed to participate for his sake.

In recent reflections, Cannon has discussed the emotional aspects of his journey, mentioning that he sometimes used the expansion of his family to navigate unresolved personal trauma following his divorce. He emphasized that despite the logistical challenges, his children were born from love and strong relationships.
