Nick Galanti secures UFC contract with 35-second knockout

Nick Galanti secured a UFC contract following a 35-second knockout victory over Carlos Petruzzella at Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) 89. The middleweight bout, held at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, concluded early in the first round after Galanti landed a heavy right hand that sent Petruzzella to the canvas.

Following the knockdown, Galanti utilized ground-and-pound strikes until the referee intervened to stop the fight. Despite Petruzzella entering the bout with a superior professional record of 15-2 compared to Galanti’s 7-1, the rapid finish resulted in Galanti being one of five winners from the third week of Season 10 to receive a UFC contract.
