Nick Jonas reveals he failed audition for Disney's 'Frozen

Nick Jonas revealed during an episode of the ‘Hey Jonas!’ podcast that he unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Kristoff in Disney’s ‘Frozen’. The singer and actor explained that he was unprepared for the musical aspect of the audition, noting that he was unaware he needed to bring sheet music.

During the discussion with ‘Frozen’ cast members Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad, Jonas described the experience as “terrible” and said he “bombed” the audition after having to improvise with a musical theater song. The role of Kristoff was ultimately voiced by Jonathan Groff.

In a lighthearted exchange, Gad joked that Jonas might have had better chemistry with Bell than Groff did. Jonas expressed his admiration for the franchise, stating that his family members are “massive fans” of the series.
