Nick Kozakis horror film Kick On premieres at TIFF

Nick Kozakis’s new horror film, ‘Kick On’, has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) within the Midnight Madness program. The film is described as a high-tension genre piece that utilizes practical gore effects and a claustrophobic setting to drive its narrative.

The plot follows a group of young people, including characters Eden and Zack, who seek out drugs in a Melbourne apartment complex. The situation turns violent when they encounter Ray, the volatile son of a Russian mob boss, played by Nikolai Nikolaeff. The group becomes held hostage in a neon-lit apartment, leading to an escalation of violence and attempts to escape the criminal elements guarding their exit.
