Nick Kroll to host U.S. version of ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’

Comedian Nick Kroll has been tapped to host and executive produce the United States version of the international comedy competition series ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’ for Amazon Prime Video.

The format, adapted from the Japanese series ‘Documental’, features ten comedians and comedic actors in a room for six hours. The objective is to make competitors laugh using improv, physical comedy, or characters, while the participants must avoid laughing themselves to stay in the competition.

Kroll will executive produce the series through his company, Good At Business, alongside Ben Winston, Emma Conway, and showrunner Eric Pankowski. The cast for the American iteration has not yet been announced.
