Nick Nolte returns to horror in indie film ‘Vested’

Production has wrapped on the independent horror film ‘Vested’, marking a return to the genre for Academy Award nominee Nick Nolte. The film, which features Nolte alongside Milo Gibson, is set in a remote, decaying mountain town and centers on a fractured family dealing with a supernatural curse and a series of gruesome deaths.

While the filmmakers have not explicitly confirmed a werewolf theme, the plot involving a family bloodline curse suggests lycanthropic elements. The project was written by Jay Stamatis and Edmond Giovanni Coisson, with direction by Michael Bafaro. A first-look image of Nolte has been released, though an official release date for the film has not yet been announced.
