Nick Reiner to spend 33rd birthday in jail facing murder charges

Nick Reiner, who is accused of the first-degree murder of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, will spend his 33rd birthday in custody at the Los Angeles Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that birthdays are treated like any other day for inmates, with “no additional privileges” granted for the occasion. While Reiner has access to telephones and visitors according to standard facility schedules, any birthday-related mail must be sent through normal channels and inspected for contraband.

Reiner is currently being held without bail following the deaths of his parents at their California home in December 2025.
