Nick Saban calls Michigan the most disappointing Big Ten team

Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban labeled the Michigan Wolverines the most disappointing team in the Big Ten during a College GameDay broadcast. Saban’s comments came hours before Michigan's matchup against Penn State.

Saban noted that while Michigan possesses the best defense in the Big Ten, the team has failed to effectively utilize its offensive personnel, specifically mentioning quarterback Bryce Underwood. He suggested that if the offense could score more points, the team would have a chance to turn its season around.

Michigan currently holds a 3-2 record. After starting the season ranked No. 16 in the AP poll, the Wolverines have struggled with offensive production, averaging only 23 points per game. Recent setbacks include a 20-19 loss to Iowa and a 20-14 loss to Minnesota. Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham described the current situation as the biggest challenge of his career.
