Nick Saban docuseries premieres on ESPN

ESPN has released a six-part docuseries titled ‘Saban’, which explores the life and career of Hall of Fame college football coach Nick Saban. The series features hundreds of hours of previously unseen footage and includes insights from over 70 individuals, such as Bill Belichick, Kirby Smart, and Tim Tebow.

The documentary covers Saban’s legendary tenure at the University of Alabama, where he led the Crimson Tide to six national championships over 17 seasons. It also examines his coaching philosophy, known as ‘The Process’. One episode details his time at Michigan State, specifically how he utilized psychological advice to help players focus on immediate gameplay rather than being overwhelmed by the score or the prospect of a loss.

Beyond his professional achievements, the series provides a look into his personal life and his 55-year marriage to his wife, Terry Saban.
