Nick Saban featured in new ESPN documentary and analyzes WVU football

Former Alabama football coach Nick Saban is the subject of a new six-episode ESPN documentary directed by Russell Dinallo. The series chronicles Saban’s legendary career and his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025. Beyond his professional achievements and the numerous players and coaches he mentored, the documentary explores his personal life, including his relationship with his father and his long-term marriage to Terry Saban.

Separately, Saban provided commentary on the West Virginia Mountaineers' current football season during a discussion with Pat McAfee. While acknowledging the team's offensive capabilities under Rich Rodriguez, Saban noted that the program's inability to play consistent defense remains a critical weakness that could undermine their success.
