Nickelback releases new single ahead of upcoming album

Canadian rock band Nickelback has released “Leave Me Behind,” a new single serving as a preview for their upcoming eleventh studio album, “Everything Under The Sun.” The album is scheduled for release on October 30 through Virgin Music Group.

Lead singer and guitarist Chad Kroeger described the new track as a ballad that explores themes of loyalty, emotional support, and the tension between helping someone through a difficult time and the fear of being abandoned. The song follows previous previews including “Rattle The Cage” and “Bones For The Crows,” showcasing the diverse musical range expected on the new record.

Produced by Chris Baseford and Chad Kroeger, the 12-track album marks a new chapter for the band following their partnership with Virgin Music Group. Kroeger noted that the project aims to represent all the different musical styles the band has explored throughout their career.
