Nickerie to host free holiday event with Kids Festi and Car Audio Show

A free holiday event organized by MrZonneman under the #DUSA project will take place on September 26 at the Volksplein in Nickerie, Suriname. The program is designed to conclude the holiday period with activities catering to children, youth, and adults.

For younger attendees, the event features the ‘Kids Bakana Festi’ with Mozes van Huize Anton from Paramaribo, alongside a dedicated Kids Zone offering games, crafts, and interactive theater performances. For older participants, the ‘Back 2 School Car Audio Show’ will showcase high-end vehicle sound systems from Nickerie, accompanied by DJs and music.

The organizers noted that while they initially considered a paid event featuring international acts, they opted for this free, community-focused format to avoid financial risks and ensure accessibility for local families.
