Nicki Minaj faces controversy following speech at Trump rally

Rapper Nicki Minaj has drawn criticism from the American transgender community following her appearance at a Donald Trump political rally in Port Huron, Michigan. During the event, Minaj expressed strong support for the former president, praising his resilience and stating that his return has changed the energy of the country.

Minaj also addressed gender identity issues, stating that she, Trump, and the Republican party will fight to ensure children are not “bombarded by images of gender changes.” These remarks have led to accusations of transphobia from activists and members of the transgender community.
