Nicki Minaj attacks Dr. Anthony Fauci after Senate hearing
Rapper Nicki Minaj posted a 59‑second “Dear Diary” video on X that impersonates Dr. Anthony Fauci, mocking his media profile with lines such as “they say I’m sexier than Tyra Banks” and “Brad Pitt played me on SNL.” The satire shifts to criticism of Fauci’s pandemic record, citing the disruption of children’s education, isolation of the elderly, and harm to pregnant women.
In a follow‑up X thread Minaj predicted that Fauci would “end up on a feeding tube” and lose his ability to speak, saying he would only then feel the “collective pain” caused to newborns, children, pregnant women and seniors. She attached an AI‑generated image of Fauci as a teenager writing in a diary, referencing the release of his private pandemic‑era diary by Senator Rand Paul.
The posts came after Fauci appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on July 29, 2026, where he invoked the Fifth Amendment more than 100 times while being questioned about COVID‑19 origins and pandemic policies. Minaj’s commentary aligns with broader MAGA criticism of Fauci and references the same hearing that drew statements from Republican leaders and former President Donald Trump.
