Nicki Minaj sued for $275,000 over promotional expenses

24/7 Productions has filed a lawsuit against Nicki Minaj and her management team, seeking $275,000 in unpaid reimbursements. The company alleges it covered travel and hotel expenses for the ‘Pink Friday 2’ promotional tour under a pre-approved budget, with the expectation of being repaid once the project concluded.

Internal emails cited in the legal action suggest disputes over the adequacy of the budget. While the production company claims the funds were used to cover necessary costs, Minaj’s team reportedly argued that the $275,000 amount was “extremely low” given her status. The communications detail discussions regarding daily rates for staff, such as videographers and tailors, as well as high travel costs for the artist and her son.

24/7 Productions was originally contracted to manage on-site logistics, staffing, and travel for Minaj’s Jingle Ball 2023 performance and a week of promotion in New York.
