Nicko Cruises launches exclusive wine program on Douro Queen cruise

Nicko Cruises will enrich its eight‑day Douro River cruise, sailing from Porto between 29 October and 5 November 2026, with a dedicated wine programme. Diplomat‑Sommelier Jörg Bornmann will guide passengers through two exclusive tastings that explore the wines of Portugal and the UNESCO‑listed Douro Valley.

The itinerary also includes shore excursions to historic towns and renowned vineyards, allowing guests to experience the region’s terraced vineyards, traditional quintas and local culinary traditions while sailing the iconic river.
