Nicko McBrain criticizes Axl Rose and Donald Trump

Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain has shared candid opinions regarding both rock musician Axl Rose and former U.S. President Donald Trump in recent interviews.

Reflecting on the 1988 tour shared by Iron Maiden and Guns N’ Roses, McBrain stated that Axl Rose’s voice “has not aged very well,” noting that Rose’s high vocal range has struggled with the passage of time. Despite this, McBrain praised Rose’s performance when he filled in for Brian Johnson in AC/DC in 2016, noting that Rose “did a great job” and has shown improved behavior and maturity.

In discussions surrounding his autobiography, “Hello Boys And Girls!”, McBrain also revealed that he declined an invitation to play golf with Donald Trump. Expressing strong disapproval of the politician, McBrain cited issues such as narcissism and foreign policy conflicts. He concluded by stating that he believes Trump and his associates “should be in jail.”
