Niclas Grönholm prepares for Ralli SM return in Kitee

Rally driver Niclas Grönholm and co-driver Samu Vaaler are preparing for the return of the Ralli SM series in Kitee following a two-month summer break.

Grönholm, driving for the GRX Red Devil Team, has spent the week conducting tests to regain momentum after a difficult season. His Skoda has been fully repaired and serviced following a spin during the previous rally in Jyväskylä. Grönholm noted that the car is now in the condition a rally car should be in, with reliable settings already established.

Aiming to improve upon a season lacking podium finishes, Grönholm stated his strategy for the upcoming challenging and fast stages in North Karelia is “tarkat nuotit ja kovaa ajoa” (precise notes and hard driving). He expressed a desire to use the remaining rallies to build positive momentum for the end of the season.
