Real Madrid lets Nico Paz stay at Como 1907 for 2026-27 with buy‑back clause
Real Madrid announced that Argentine midfielder Nico Paz will remain with Italian Serie A side Como 1907 for the 2026‑27 season. The agreement, confirmed in June 2026, gives Como full ownership of the player for a reported €60 million fee while preserving a unilateral buy‑back option for Real Madrid in the 2027‑28 season, valued at around €80 million.
Paz, who has been playing for Como since his loan from the Spanish club, requested the continuation to secure regular playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup with Argentina. Como, which qualified for the Champions League, will benefit from his services for another campaign, and Real Madrid retains the right to re‑acquire him if his development meets expectations.
The deal was communicated jointly by Real Madrid, Como 1907 and the player, and it aligns with the club’s strategy of loaning young talents to gain experience while keeping future control over their contracts.
