Inter Milan preseason in Germany: players pledge loyalty, target double

Inter Milan is holding its preseason training camp in Germany ahead of the new Serie A campaign. Several squad members spoke about the club’s ambitions and their personal roles.

Forward Francesco Pio Esposito said the team’s goal is to keep the balance that delivered last season’s league and cup titles and that he does not want to be compared with former stars. Defender Yann Bisseck expressed his desire to become a leader and confidence in the squad’s preparation.

Strikers Lautaro Martínez and Theo Thuram are expected back from their World Cup break within a few weeks to join the camp. Defender Federico Dimarco listed Milan, Napoli, Juventus, Roma and Atalanta – with Como also strengthening – as the main rivals for the title.
