Nicolò Bulega equals win record at WorldSBK Estoril Round

At the WorldSBK Estoril Round, Nicolò Bulega (Ducati) achieved a historic milestone by winning Race 1, marking his 27th victory of the season and equaling Alvaro Bautista’s single-season record. Bulega also set a new lap record during the weekend. His teammate Iker Lecuona finished second, while Alberto Surra secured third place, completing a Ducati podium sweep.

Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira, competing for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, delivered a strong performance in front of his home crowd. After showing significant improvement during Friday's practice sessions—moving from 10th in FP1 to 4th in the combined standings—Oliveira finished Race 1 in fourth place. This result marks BMW’s best finish in 20 races.

Bulega currently leads the championship with 627 points, followed by Lecuona with 489. Oliveira's fourth-place finish helped him climb to 11th in the overall standings.
