Nicolò Bulega has secured the 2026 World Superbike (WorldSBK) Championship at the Cremona Circuit in Italy. Riding for Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, the 26-year-old Italian clinched the title following a second-place finish in Race 2, mathematically sealing the championship with several rounds to spare.

Bulega’s season has been historically dominant, characterized by 26 victories in 30 races and a consistent presence on the podium. He becomes the second Italian to win the WorldSBK title, following Max Biaggi, and is the first Italian to win the championship on a Ducati. His performance contributed to a successful season for Ducati, which secured the riders', manufacturers', and teams' titles.

While Bulega secured the championship, his teammate Iker Lecuona dominated the weekend at Cremona, achieving a hat-trick of victories across the Superpole Race and both main races. Lecuona also set a new lap record at the circuit with a time of 1’27’’25. The event at the Cremona Circuit drew significant crowds, celebrating both the championship victory and the technical achievements of the Ducati Panigale V4 R.
