Nicolò Zaniolo's transfer talks intensify as Lazio and Juventus vie

Udinese have reacquired midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo from Galatasaray for a €5 million fee, with a 50 % future‑sale clause benefiting the Turkish side. Zaniolo, who posted five goals and five assists this season, is under contract until 2029 and earns €1.2 million net per year, but he is demanding a salary increase of roughly €600‑700 k. Negotiations are set to involve the Pozzo family and his agent, with a decisive meeting scheduled this week.

Lazio are reported to be monitoring the situation closely, while Juventus have also shown interest, considering offering centre‑backs Vasilije Adzic or Juan Cabal as part of a potential deal. Milan and other clubs have previously been linked to the player. Udinese director Walter Inler emphasized a cautious approach, saying “Noi ragioniamo partita per partita.” The transfer fee is estimated around €15 million if a move materialises.
