Nicola Conci renews contract with Astana

Italian cyclist Nicola Conci has renewed his contract with the Astana cycling team for another season. The 29-year-old, who joined the Kazakh formation in 2025, expressed high satisfaction with the decision, citing the positive team atmosphere and strong rapport with his teammates as decisive factors.

Conci’s 2026 season included notable individual performances, such as a third-place stage finish at the Tour de l’Ain, where he also secured sixth place in the general classification. He also achieved top-15 finishes at the Giro di Sardegna and the Grand Prix Castellón. Beyond individual results, Conci has been a valuable asset in WorldTour events, frequently supporting the team's leaders.
