Nicola Coughlan to star in Channel 4 drama I Am Helen

Channel 4 has released the trailer for I Am Helen, the latest installment in Dominic Savage’s acclaimed anthology drama series. Starring Nicola Coughlan and Joe Cole, the two-part production explores the experience of womanhood within a world shaped by masculine power, aggression, and control.

The story follows Helen as she navigates a relationship with her partner, Steve, which becomes increasingly controlling and dangerous. The series aims to examine the pressures placed on women and the impact of toxic masculinity on modern relationships.

Produced by Me+You Productions, the anthology series has previously featured high-profile actors such as Kate Winslet, Suranne Jones, and Lesley Manville. I Am Helen is scheduled to air on Channel 4 later this year.
