Nicola Procaccini presents book on conservative ecology in Catania

Nicola Procaccini, an MEP for Fratelli d’Italia and president of the European Parliament's Conservatives and Reformists group, presented his book, ‘L’ecologia dei conservatori: Il ritorno del sacro alla natura’, in Catania.

The book explores the relationship between conservatism and environmental policies. Procaccini argues for an ecological approach that protects nature without penalizing businesses, labor, or individual freedoms. He criticized radical versions of environmentalism, such as the European Green Deal, for having an aversion to private enterprise and economic freedom.

He advocates for an ecology defined by freedom of choice, technological neutrality, and the preservation of natural heritage. The event included various local and national political figures, including Catania Mayor Enrico Trantino and Democratic Party deputy Anthony Barbagallo.
