Nicolae Stanciu leads Dalian Yingbo to Chinese FA Cup semifinals

Romanian midfielder Nicolae Stanciu led Dalian Yingbo to the semifinals of the Chinese FA Cup following a 1-0 victory over Shanghai Shenhua.

Despite playing with a numerical advantage after Huang Zihao was sent off in the 8th minute, Shanghai Shenhua failed to score. The decisive moment occurred in the 54th minute when Stanciu earned a penalty after his shot was blocked by a handball from Gao Tianyi. Stanciu converted the penalty himself to secure the win.

Stanciu was named Man of the Match for his performance. Following the game, he expressed pride in his teammates and dedicated the victory to the fans.
