Nicolae Stanciu targeted by U Cluj and FCSB in transfer race

Romanian midfielder Nicolae Stanciu is the subject of a transfer competition between Liga 1 clubs U Cluj and FCSB as his current contract in China approaches its end in December.

Reports suggest Stanciu may favor a move to U Cluj due to personal reasons, specifically to support his wife, Andreea, who reportedly requires medical treatment at a specialized clinic in Cluj. While a formal agreement has not been officially announced, sources indicate that the player and the club have reached a verbal understanding for a potential winter transfer.

U Cluj is also reportedly interested in signing Andrei Burcă. Meanwhile, FCSB coach Laurențiu Reghecampf has expressed strong interest in the midfielder, stating that the club would welcome him back to Bucharest at any time.
