Nicolae Stanciu targets return to Romania amid interest from Cluj and FCSB

Romanian midfielder Nicolae Stanciu is considering a return to the SuperLiga following the conclusion of his contract with Dalian Yingbo on December 31. The 33-year-old, currently playing in China, has drawn interest from both Universitatea Cluj and FCSB.

Reports indicate that Stanciu may favor a move to Universitatea Cluj to be closer to his hometown of Alba Iulia. While his current salary in China is approximately two million euros per season, a potential move to the Romanian league would see him earn roughly 360,000 euros annually, plus a 100,000 euro signing bonus.

Stanciu addressed fans on social media, expressing gratitude to the supporters of Dalian Yingbo while noting that his work is not yet finished. He remains a free agent upon the expiration of his current deal, with negotiations expected to focus on his next professional steps.
