Nicolas Cage to star in cyber-thriller C. L. A. Y

Nicolas Cage, Martin Sheen, and Jordi Mollà have joined the cast of C. L. A. Y., an upcoming psychological cyber-thriller. The film marks the directorial debut of Simon Afram, who also wrote and produced the project.

The story follows a socially isolated computer prodigy who joins an underground hacker collective known as C. L. A. Y. (Clowns Laughing At You). The group’s digital provocations lead to real-world consequences, drawing interest from intelligence agencies, criminal syndicates, and rival hackers. The narrative is described as a human story exploring identity and belonging within the digital world.

Production is set to begin filming on location in London in November 2026. The project is being produced by Clay Pictures Ltd alongside Edward Kahl, Reza Roohi, and Adrian Topol.
